Still Needing Drivers

My daughter has been feverishly working on hosts and Drivers. The hosts are coming along pretty well still need places near buffalo to stay. We are in desperate need of drivers for May, the weekends are Saturdays May 9th & 16th. The weekends of the 2nd and 23rd are covered. It is ideal if a driver can do at least 2 days, Saturday, Sunday. Still Need drivers for mother’s day weekend May 9th and 10th and 16th to the 19th of May 2009.

It would go along way to help me feel more calm and focus on the walking. If at all possible we will need folks who can drive during the week. The drivers job is vital this is the person that would go along with me and any other walkers & have fruit, snacks and water handy and perhaps scout out places to rest and or public restrooms. We will have a car this time around. Call the ASAP 216-231-0301 office if you can drive.

On Our Way

We head out tomorrow for St. Catharines. They have been working and organizing our arrival for months now and have a wonderful program all set up. The blessing ceremony begins at noon. I will have details in a day or two.

Urban Spotlight - 93.1 FM - Sunday, April 26

I will be on the radio in Cleveland!! Urban Spotlight on 93.1 FM this Sunday at 9:00am – 10:00am. Please tell all of your friends listen to the broadcast. The format of the program is first 30 minutes the host (Kim Johnson) will talk to you about walking the trails of the Freedom Center. They will take your calls lets have somebody calling!!!!

I still have not found shoes I really like arrgh! I do have wonderful smart wool socks though.

Getting Ready / Working Out

Here are some pictures of me exercising. I really look like a pro huh? See that look of concentration on my face. What you don’t see is my trainer that shows me how to use all this stuff. Then he makes me do all the heavy lifting.

This one is me with my cat. Well it’s really my friend Marjorie’s cat and I am her foster mother. The cat Dilly is not allowed to live where Marjorie lives. As you can see I have not been able to train her to walk with me like my other cat Nelson did. Yes, Nelson as in Mandela.

Dilly gets heavy after awhile so she may not be able to come along. Yes the cat is named dilly like silly but it is after a James Joyce character.
